In short: BeniSky shows no advertising and has no contact form. Google Analytics only runs if you consent in the cookie banner. Otherwise, personal data is only processed in technical logs when you visit a page and when you send us an email.

2. Data collected

When you visit the site, our hosting provider stores technically necessary data in server logs: IP address, date and time, page visited, browser and operating system, referring page.

When you open the map, your browser loads map tiles from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation. In the process, your IP address is transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation.

If you send us an email, we process your email address, your name if given, and the content of your message.

Only with your consent – Google Analytics: We measure which pages are visited and how often. Google Analytics 4 records, among other things, the pages viewed, time spent on the site, approximate location (country, city), device type, browser and a random identifier stored in a cookie. According to Google, IP addresses are not stored in Analytics 4. We do not use any advertising features or Google Signals.

We serve fonts and all other files ourselves. No data is transferred to Google without your consent.

3. Purpose and legal basis

Server logs and the map display serve the secure and proper operation of the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We also answer emails on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our interest lies in dealing with your enquiry.

Google Analytics helps us improve the site. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 22(2) LSSI-CE). You can withdraw it at any time via the ‘Cookie settings’ link at the bottom of every page; processing carried out before withdrawal remains lawful.

4. Data retention

Server logs are automatically deleted by the hosting provider after a short period, usually after no more than 30 days. We delete emails once the enquiry has been dealt with, provided no statutory retention obligations apply. Analytics data is automatically deleted after 14 months.

5. Recipients

Hosting: Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA. Map tiles: OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cambridge, United Kingdom; the tiles are delivered via the network of the service provider Fastly. The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for the United Kingdom. Web analytics (only with consent): Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; data may be transferred to Google LLC, USA. For transfers to the USA, Netlify and Google rely on appropriate safeguards under Art. 46 GDPR (EU standard contractual clauses) or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where they participate in it. Data is not passed on to any other third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so.

6. Rights of the data subject

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, write to info [at] sendahome [dot] es. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Spain, this is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es).

7. Cookies

BeniSky sets no cookies without your consent. We store your choice in the cookie banner in your browser’s local storage so that the banner does not appear every time you load a page.

If you consent, Google Analytics sets the following cookies:

You can change your consent at any time via ‘Cookie settings’ at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the Analytics cookies.

8. Data security

The site is delivered exclusively in encrypted form via HTTPS. We and our hosting provider take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss and unauthorised access.
