Mirador del Mediterráneo

The two Mirador towers are linked every few floors by metal walkways. Rollers in the walkways let each tower sway independently in the wind.

The story

The Mirador was built in Rincón de Loix between December 2003 and September 2006. Up to the 7th floor, where the garages are, the towers share a podium. Above that they stand apart and taper towards the top, until at the very top there is room for only one apartment on each side.

The walkways are more than decoration: they serve as a second escape route in the event of fire.
