No. 80 of 84 in the list
Parque Europa
Parque Europa 1 and 2 are two identical residential towers of 28 floors each in the district around Avenida de Europa. They stand not on the beach but in the Levante hinterland, where building was dense and tall in the 1990s.
The story
The two towers were completed in 1998. Each measures 82 metres and has 28 floors, making them only slightly lower than Gemelos 12 a few streets away. The address is Calle Esperanto without a house number, a side street off Avenida de Europa. The name probably refers to that avenue; the origin of the name is not documented.
The complex includes a pool and a garden, which guests praise on portals. Many apartments are let to holidaymakers through managers such as Fincas Arena; a listing for an apartment ‘23-C’ in Tower II shows that the residential floors reach at least the 23rd storey. Tripadvisor gives 321 units, without saying whether apartments or beds are meant.
The internet yields no more. Neither developer nor architect is documented, and no local press reports could be found. On the same street stands the Flamingo Beach Resort, the former Marconfort Flamingo Playa.
The complex on Calle Esperanto includes a third block: Parque Europa 3 with 29 floors, also finished in 1998 according to SkyDB. The database gives no height; since the two neighbours with 28 floors measure 82 metres, Block 3 should be at least as tall.
