Torre Benidorm
Torre Benidorm stands for the second wave of the boom in the early 1970s. Spanish Wikipedia calls it one of the city’s most distinctive buildings.

The story
The tower on the corner of Avenida de Europa and Avenida del Mediterráneo is, like Torre Coblanca, the work of Juan Guardiola Gaya. It rises from a low podium with shops, above which stands the slender residential tower.
These were the years when the big hotel blocks went up and the first charter flights brought visitors from northern Europe. Torre Benidorm is a witness to that era.
