TM Tower
When the TM Tower is completed in 2028, it will clearly overtop Intempo and become Europe’s tallest residential building. For now, it is only just rising out of the ground.
The story
The developer is TM Grupo Inmobiliario, a company from the province of Alicante that has shaped Poniente over the past ten years: Sunset Drive, Sunset Waves, Sunset Cliffs and Sunset Sailors are all by TM. The TM Tower is its tenth tower in Benidorm, with an investment of €140 million.
Its shape is modelled on a coral. Because the tower will be so slender and tall, a model of it was tested in a wind tunnel at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, using two years of wind data from the coast. The foundations rest on 355 piles reaching down as far as 16 metres.
In May 2026 construction reached street level and the upward phase began. By then half of the 260 apartments had already been reserved, with most buyers coming from Poland and Spain. The top apartment sold for €3 million.
